The existing sewage treatment plant at Gedney Hill school was a filter bed system that had failed due to it’s age.
Nugent Pump Services Ltd (Environmental Systems and Services UK Ltd) designed, supplied and installed a new WPL Hy-Paf sewage treatment plant to cater with minimum and maximum flows of waste water. The refurbishment also included a new Grease Trap installed within the kitchen area to reduce fat build up within the new sewage treatment plant.
